Where we’ve been and what we thought of it
Swayambhu is Kathmandu’s most historic and well known Buddhist Temple, known to tourists as The Monkey Temple. It has a rich history shrouded in a mythological past related to the Valley being flooded and then drained by Manjushri. Top attraction in this ancient city.
