Cuckoo Pint is the common or everyday name for the Arum Maculatum found everywhere across England. It was named as such in Nicholas Culpepers’ famous 17th-century herbal, but it is known by many other names too across the world. I often see these from Spring to Summer hidden in hedgerows, though easier to see when the spiky bit in the middle becomes like a poker of red berries.
