There’s more to Burgundy than wine tasting!

A misty dawn in Burgundy

A lovely misty dawn from the slopes of Pommard heralds a good day for wine tasting and a vineyard walk as part of our wine travels around Burgundy. A few hours later not a cloud in the sky, shorts on, a good day for wine photography too. Dr C on camera, self, daughter and her husband perfectly framed! Is this the border between Pommard and Volnay where the soil and wine style completely changes?

  1. That’s a great picture. Love the hot air balloon too — really wish I wasn’t terrified of heights because I think a balloon ride would be so peacefully and inspiring.
