Postcard from America #10 Chicago and wild garlic!

Chicago and Wild Garlic!

As the train pulls out on its long journey to New York for our final few days in the US, I begin to realise how little I know and how little we’ve seen of this magnificent city. Let’s start with its name based on the Native American word for wild garlic, Shikaakwa! We need to return!

  1. WOW – we were in Chicago at the same time as you were! We were there for our daughter’s graduation and moving back home adventure. Glad to see you found some fun sites to see!
